The problem

Bulk diesel storage is a high-value asset that's often outdoors and rarely watched. Theft is hard to prove, consumption is hard to allocate to drivers/equipment, and running empty mid-shift is a productivity hit.

Enterprise telemetry exists but it's priced for fuel companies, not the small fleet operator with one or two tanks behind the depot.

Common questions

Is the alert system reliable enough to act on?

Alerts are debounced, redundant (push + email) and survive a sensor outage by escalating with a clearly-marked degraded state. We don't hide failure.

Can the system distinguish theft from a planned overnight run?

Quiet-hours and a per-tank "expected drop" baseline reduce false positives; planned night-shifts can be marked in the app to mute alerts during the run.

Will it integrate with my fleet card / fuel-issue system?

Most modern fuel-issue systems can webhook into StellarGauge so issues appear as expected drops. Cards-only setups can pair our HTTP API with your reconciliation pipeline.
